A family charity

Caring for people in need, and for the work of the gospel.

We pay hospital bills and school fees for people who cannot, keep top students in school, and care for widows and families. Soon we will also support ministries and evangelism.

Our work

Where we help

Our work started with one family helping the people around them. It is now organised in four areas, each with a clear process, so help reaches the right person.

Health

Hospital bills paid, so treatment can start

We know what a hospital bill can take from a household. Send us your medical report and the hospital's bill. We confirm it with the hospital and pay the hospital directly.

  • Surgery, treatment and admission bills
  • Cancer care, including chemotherapy and tests
  • Paid to the hospital account, never to individuals

Education

School fees, and a scholarship for top students

One-off help when a family cannot meet a term's or year's fees, paid to the school against its invoice. Students with a distinction can join the Clementine Amondi Scholarship.

Widows & Families

Care for widows and families in need

Today that means a Christmas meal every December, cooked and shared with widows and families who would otherwise go without.

“Look after orphans and widows in their distress.” James 1:27

Ministry & Outreach Starting soon

Supporting ministries and the spread of the gospel

We are preparing to support ministries, evangelism and outreach. We will explain here how it works before we start. We are not taking requests for ministry support yet.

How a request works

From application to receipt

We check every request with the hospital or school before we pay. That keeps the fund going to real need.

  1. STEP 1

    You apply

Fill in the form and upload the report or invoice. You get a reference number straight away.

  2. STEP 2

    We verify

We call the hospital or school to confirm the bill, and may call you with questions.

  3. STEP 3

    We decide

The family reviews every request and decides at its discretion. Many people apply, so help is never guaranteed. We tell you the decision by phone, text or email.

  4. STEP 4

    We pay direct

We pay the hospital or school, then send you the payment receipt.

The Clementine Amondi Scholarship

Keep your distinction. We keep paying.

Scholars have their school fees paid every term or year for as long as they keep a distinction in their programme. Each time, the scholar uploads their result. If it holds, we pay the next term's or year's fees.

In loving memory

Clementine Amondi

4 September 1959 – 14 February 2020

Her family started the Amondi Foundation in her name.

We fund it ourselves. Through it we do what she would have done: help pay for someone's treatment, keep a bright student in school, and make sure no widow near us goes without a meal at Christmas.

Mum never walked past someone in need. If she could help, she did, quietly and without asking for thanks. This foundation is how we keep doing what she taught us.
